Vanity Fair: This is a pretty pic of Kate but it’s nothing special. VF’s cover kind of looks tabloidy which is a shame since this is the coveted “International Best Dressed” issue. Score: 3.1

Company: We’re so confused by Company’s September issue. Whitney Port looks great on the cover, but why are they advertising “summer style” for the fall? Score: 4

Allure: If you’ve seen Sofia Vergara in an interview then you know her spicy personality has more life than this cover. Although Vergara has a timeless beauty, this cover isn’t a complete flop more like a subtle dud. Score: 5

Glamour: We don’t hate this Victoria Beckham cover; it’s just not right for September. We want fashion, save the bubbles and Stephen Russell tiara for the October issue. Score: 5

Teen Vogue: Selena Gomez was the perfect pick to cover Teen Vogue; she just looks like she has to fart or something. Score: 5

Numero: Every once in a while you will find that hair and makeup will out shine the styling in a shoot, this is one of those moments for Candice Swanepoel on Numero. Score: 5

Harper’s Bazaar: A couture moment never goes unnoticed and Gwen Stefani is definitely rocking her Alexis Mabille Couture hat. Score: 8

Vogue Australia: Bella Heathcote looks like a modern day Little Red Riding Hood, nothing about the cover jumps out at you however. Score: 7

Elle UK: We love a watercolor floral print that draws you in and Rosie’s stoic but determined face is a winner!  Score: 8

Marie Claire: Look at Miley all grown up!  Score: 8

Glamour France: Charlotte Le Bun looks like she’s patting her weave. She’s apparently down with Beyonce, hence why we love this cover. Score: 7

Vogue Japan: Karlie Kloss looks stunning on the cover, but didn’t we just see a similar version of this look on Selena Gomez in the July issue of Elle magazine? Score: 8

Flare: Lindsey Wixson is making a bold statement on the cover of Flare Magazine in metallic; however we could live without the gold outer garment. Score: 9

Vogue: The CFDA needs to use this image to create an award for their annual fashion awards because Lady Gaga is serving us haute-ness in Marc Jacobs and crazy hair. Score: 10

American Vogue has transformed mother monster, Lady Gaga like none other. For the September 2012 issue cover, Gaga wears a sculpted Marc Jacobs fuchsia gown with a mile high tousled hair do. Gaga was styled by Grace Coddington and shot by Mert & Marcus. “I’m totally channeling fozzibear,” Gaga wrote on littlemonsters.com late last night. We kinda think she’s channeling RuPaul during RuPaul’s Drag Race and Cathy Moriaty as Montana Moorehead in the 90′s comedy Soapdish, which is pretty damn awesome considering that American Vogue sometimes makes their cover stars look like marionette doll.

A match made in fashion heaven, Solange Knowles has been tapped to face J.Crew’s cooler sister line, Madewell.  In the 50 second video advert, Solange wears many of Madewell’s fall 2012 trendy collection including wide brim fedoras, polka dot blazers and loads of denim. Solange joined NEXT Model agency in January 2012.

Nicki Minaj and designer Jeremy Scott, besties? Yes, this is a match made in Rainbow Brite heaven. For Adidas’ new “All Originals Represent” campaign, the brand tapped some familiar faces such as Minaj and Scott, Korean pop superstars 2NE1, and Chicago Bulls b-baller Derrick Rose, to name a few. Set to Nicki’s track, “Masquerade”, the 1 minute video features some of the world’s most stylish cities, including Paris, New York, Tokyo and Rio and has the uber celebs playing in the middle of street, having an all-around fun time.

Don’t know if this video will make you bust a move in Adidas’ colorful tracksuits and sneaks, but it’s sure to get your attention. Also, we need to reiterate that Jeremy Scott and Nicki Minaj are besties. Can this be real life? Please?

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton and actress Jessica Chastain are Vanity Fair’s annual International Best-Dressed List for 2011, featuring a glamorous mixture of celebs, royals and society notables.

It’s a no brainer that Kate Middleton is on the list. The duchess, who claimed the top spot as “Best Dressed Woman of the Year”, is known for mixing high-low designer looks with affordable closet staples, marking her third time on the coveted style list. Cover star runner-up Jessica Chastain, who has heads-turned in the likes of Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen and Elie Saab this year, is also featured.

Other notables who made the list include: Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, the Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Alexandra of Greece  as well as Elettra Wiedemann, Diane Kruger, Justin Timberlake, and even Tom Brady.

Rita Ora, the 21-year-old British singer-songwriter signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, covers the latest issue of ASOS magazine. Shot by photographer Tyrone Lebon, Rita rocks a bespoke bomber jacket designed by ASOS on the cover talk about her style influences in the issue!

Rita has already amassed two number one singles, is opening for Coldplay throughout this summer, and was a guest judge spot on The X Factor UK.  Her debut album that drops on August 27th took 2 ½ years to record and is called O.R.A. which means “time” in her native Kosovo.  Her first single “How We Do (Party)” is currently climbing the U.S. Hot 100 chart.

Here’s what Rita has to say on being called the “next Rihanna”, style inspiration, Kanye West and making it big:

On media’s eagerness to label her “the next Rihanna”:  “It’s a great comparison but I don’t think about it.  When the album’s out, it’s going to separate me from that, without me having to say anything.”

On her style inspiration:  “I always thought (Gwen Stefani) was so cool.  I think I’m man enough to admit she made me want to wear red lipstick.  When I saw it on her, I thought she was the prettiest person in the world.”

On making it big: “People would tell me I was wasting my time, but I think a lot of musicians go through that.  I’m grateful all that happened because it meant I had time to build my confidence and grow as an artist.”

On Kanye West:  “He’s one of my fashion icons.  I’d love to be the female Kanye.  I think he’s so cool and effortless.”

Azealia Banks is fast becoming fashion’s go to “It” girl. Earlier this year she was invited to do a special performance for Karl Lagerfeld and she accompanied Alexander Wang to this year’s MET Ball. Now she is the newest face for Wang’s T Fall 2012 collection. The one minute campaign video features Banks rapping the lyric to her dance floor track “Van Vogue” while swinging her signature “mermaid” hair.

Alexander Wang says he chose Azealia to be the muse for the collection because, “She exudes a certain rawness that makes her a very unique talent. I loved working with her on this video for T Fall 2012, and think the collaboration captures a collision of energies.”

Mila Kunis returns as the face of Christian Dior’s Miss Dior fragrance this time styled by ex-French Vogue editrix, Carine Roitfeld. Mila, who looks a lot like a combination of Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O in the shoot, seems to be getting a lot of paparazzi love. Only we’re confused as to where the fragrance comes in. Is the fragrance so amazing that it picks up the scent of the paparazzi? We digress. She looks hot though!
