Okay, so it isn’t exactly a surprise that neon is in for the spring/summer 2012 (it’s pretty much as surprising as florals.) However, neon mix with minimalism could bring a breath of fresh air next spring. Everyone from Derek Lam to J. Crew S/S 2012 collections showed a bit of Rainbow Brite yet paired with a very grown up look, this could speak volume. Case in point Rachel Roy’s S/S 2012 collection – which we adored – featured plenty of neon brights with slouchy silhouettes and drapery. So instead of all black or white everything, add a lil neon to your life. You’ll thank us next spring
