Marc by Marc Jacobs
The holidays are here once again and you’re probably wondering what to get the fashionisto in your life (or you’re still struggling to find a cool gift from “you to you” lol). Anyway, as noted in our women’s holiday gift guide, it can be daunting to find an ideal gift. Well, behold a few suggestions courtesy of the editors / contributors at lowefactor! We polled our staff to see what can we get a guy for the holidays and here’s what we came up with!
Parisian store Maje adds flair to the Marc Jacbos’ dominate Bleecker Street in the West Village in NYC. Recently opening another store in Soho, Maje the French retailer popular among actresses such as Marion Cotillard, Emma Watson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has made major strides in establishing a stateside clientele.
Both the Bleecker Street and Soho stores are replicas of the stores in Paris with cream colored walks, wood floors and single paneled mirrored walls made to resemble a French flat. The persian chic store is the new neighbor to Zadig & Voltaire, Marc by Marc Jacobs, NARS, and Jimmy Choo. Check it out at 417 Bleecker Street, NYC.

We’ve seen the collections from the spring runway shows but how much did you pay attention to the details? Without the little extras, the lines would not be complete, besides, every outfit needs accessories! Here are our top 15 accessories that caught our eye for Spring 2012.
Is Marc Jacobs the new Hugh Hefner? This weekend, the Marc by Marc boutique on Bleecker Street in New York will be visited by two Playboy bunnies in the window display. According to WWD, the bunnies are going to be there to promote a limited edition book that Jacobs is selling across the street at Bookmark, called Hugh Hefner’s Playboy, 6 Volumes. In addition, he made three Marc Jacobs + Playboy tees. They are $35 with the proceeds going to Designers Against Aids. [Fashionista]
We wish we could go, but we will most likely have to settle for the book and/or a tee.

In case you didn’t know, Spring 2011 is all about color! Bright hues of yellow, magenta and orange were all over the runways last September. So here are 30 of our favorite spring 2011 ad campaigns that are (or will be) appearing in some of your favorite mags!
What can we say? Color, patterns and knits are #in for next fall. So tuck away your “all black everything” and add some Technicolor to that black & white flick of fashion you have.
